Flat Carbon Steel
Flat carbon steel is a type of steel that is fabricated by the roll or in sheets with a range of dimensions and thickness. Flat steel products consist of plates, sheets, coils, and strips and they can be further categorized into three groups based on their manufacturing process: hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel, and coated steel. Hot-rolled steels are mainly used in automobiles, construction, and machinery engineering. Cold rolled steels are used to manufacture home appliances that require precision. Coated steels are coated with aluminum and zinc in order to enhance the anti-corrosion properties of materials.
